Penny’s journey with Greene King started not as a calculated career move, but as a part-time job close to her family home. With each step, from waiter to supervisor and eventually Assistant Manager at a Loch Fyne in Beaconsfield, Penny’s unwavering dedication and ambition shone through. But her journey didn’t stop there.

It was my first part-time job; the restaurant had a good reputation, and it was close to my then family home.

The majority of my career has been at Greene King, not because of a lack of ambition - far from it - but because of the sheer scale of the business and the development opportunities here. I have worked across various divisions in various roles which has enabled me to grow, learn and broaden my skillset. It has also provided me with exposure to a wide network of functions and people across the organisation and industry.
