Production Planner

As a Production Planner you will ensure the day-to-day production operations run smoothly. You will be responsible for creating daily raw material, packaging material and production schedules, focusing on immediate resource allocation. while ensuring that materials are delivered and products are manufactured on time.

Your role as Production Planner 

• Ensure sufficient finished goods stocks are available to meet forecasted requirements. 
• Maintain short term production schedules around asset capabilities, working hours, labour availability and returnable container availability
• Minimise write off and manage stock availability to achieve customer service targets.
• On time deliveries of raw materials including packaging materials
• Produce department KPI reports

What you’ll bring… 

• Clear communication skills both written and verbal
• Working as part of a team
• High level of attention to detail to prevent scheduling errors
• Strong organizational skills to manage daily schedules
• Ability to work under pressure, adapting to changes in production
• Knowledge of production processes to create feasible schedules
• Ideally experience of ERP systems and/or Advanced Planning/Scheduling 
• Experience of an FMCG environment
