Facilities Assistant

Working within the facilities team, your will be part of a small dedicated team, providing central essential Facilities Management services to internal customers, visitors and colleagues. You will have a key role taking pride in the site's appearance and the satisfaction levels of all end users. The role will also require you to provide cover and support within the Print Room and Post Room.

Your role as a Facilities Assistant

• Acting as one of the key holders in an emergency and responding to calls outside normal working hours, setting and turning off alarms as required
• Post room/distribution/collection/sorting
• Print room support /maintenance of printing equipment/batch printing, waste toner and toner changes
• Routine and constant housekeeping checks of building appearance and condition
• Contractor liaison and sign in

What you’ll bring…  

• Suitable craft/trade/technical qualification
• 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Demonstrate a positive ‘can do’ approach to customer support and service
• Will be straight forward, concise, helpful and in dealings with all customers, colleagues, contractors and visitors
• Has a strong team ethos, personal drive and tenacity
