Job Description

In the role of Senior Internal Communications Manager you will...

  • Develop annual campaign and content strategy to deliver Internal Communications ambition, identifying needs based on
  • the wider business strategy and priorities, setting objectives and targets.
  • Create compelling narratives on key initiatives (eg Customer, Digital, Brands) that support the overall IC strategy in
  • embedding our company purpose, values and culture, building employee engagement and a positive working culture
  • Champion of and advisor on Group narrative in relation to the Greene King vision and strategy. Ensure our internal tone
  • of voice and style is consistent and genuine.
  • Work with the Senior Internal Comms Manager (Channels & Content) and Senior Internal Comms Manager (Partnering &
  • Events) to shape the optimal communication flow through the organisation
  • Work closely with the Corporate Affairs team and Stakeholders to create content opportunities and provide counsel
  • Line Management of Content Executive
  • Continuously developing and innovating to ensure we are delivering best practice
  • Apply learnings to improve internal communications performance

What you'll bring...

  • An experienced communicator with exemplary writing skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt messaging according to the audience
  • Good at storytelling, creative flair and innovative approach
  • Extensive experience in Internal Communications, working in large, fast-paced organisations
  • Knowledge of communications trends and best practice
  • Experience of digital content and channels
  • Digitally savvy with solid understanding of a range of communications disciplines.
  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management abilities, with expertise in influencing senior stakeholders
  • Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Insight-led in developing strategy to ensure that plans reflect the requirements of the audience
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, conflicting agendas and changing priorities · Reactive and consistent in approach
  • An inspiring leader of people, values-led and a strong manager who prioritises the development of themselves and their team
