Company Description

As a Property Finance Analyst you will be joining an industry leading finance team, standing shoulder to shoulder with the business, guiding decision-making through insight that drives action whilst always championing processes that protect the business and make it easier to get the job done.

The Property Finance team provides business partnering and analytical support for a variety of Property functions across Greene King, ranging from commercial due diligence on acquisitions, to repair budgets, to valuing the GK Property portfolio.  This is a hybrid working role which can be based from either our Bury St Edmunds site or our Burton offices

Job Description

Your role as Property Finance Analyst

  • Review of all inter-BU pub transfers, understanding numbers submitted, owning financials presented and helping drive informed investment decisions. 
  • Gain an understanding of key demographic and competitor information, helping shape the market planning of towns and cities by the AO Director and Market Planning Manager.
  • Exposure to financial planning cycles; Forecast, Strategy Planning and Budgets.
  • Support the accounting and financial appraisal of our alternate use assets, for example, freehold pubs being developed for sub-lease use.

 

What you’ll bring…

  • Ability to be concise and communicate financial analysis to non-finance stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Part/newly/qualified accountant.
  • Excel competent.
  • Previous Business Partner or investment appraisal experience would be advantageous, but not essential.
