Transport Controller - Primary Transport

As a Transport Controller, within a busy transport management team, you will be responsible for day to day operational activities within the Primary transport department ensuring our customers receive best in class service from your team. 

As a line manager, you will be creating an engaged, motivated, performance-driven team with Greene King’s values at the core of everything we do.

Operationally, you will be managing a team of drivers, producing transport plans, line management and ensuring the Primary Transport operation operates within its compliance, legislative and budgetary obligations. 

You will work as part of a Team working to deliver our great beers, wines and spirits throughout our own network and to our wider customers across the UK.

Your role as Transport Controller - Primary Transport 

• Ensure legal compliance of the Greene King primary Transport Fleet and all of its drivers
• Deliver to set KPI's to ensure operational excellence
• Manage Drivers in all areas of the the operational and compliance requirements
• Support the Primary Transport Manager to identify areas of opportunity and  improvement within the Primary Transport department

• IOSH
