Pub Finance Advisor

As a  part time Pub Finance Advisor based in Bury St Edmunds your role will be a customer services based role responding to customers over the telephone and via email/case management software.  As the first point of contact for our pubs & hotels you will help to resolve finance related queries and support local suppliers in processing their payments. Working as part of a team of 12, you will play a key part in providing a high standard of customer service via the phone or case management software to our Pub/Hotel General Managers, and occasionally supporting the Pub Finance & Expenses Team Leader with ad-hoc tasks

Part time position: 16 hours a week

Location: Bury St Edmunds

Your role as Pub Finance Advisor

• Answer phone calls within agree timescales and provide answers to supplier/pub queries 

• Respond to emails within two working days and provide answers to supplier/pub queries

• First line of support for House Managers and 3rd party suppliers with systems/financial queries

• Ensuring House Manager compliance to the appropriate timescales for approval process

• To assist with day to day team tasks as required. These may include:

• Reconciliation of revenue and banking’s

• Reconciliation and verification of House expenditure claims ensuring compliance to HM Revenue & Customs regulations on VAT

• Balance sheet reconciliations

• Any other ad-hoc work required by the team
