Job description
As a National Account Manager - Off Trade you will ensure that some of Britain's best loved beers are able to be enjoyed at home this role will manage Convenience and Wholesale customers to ensure our packaged products are available across the channel. Working on a set of accounts the role will support the delivery of the Off Trade strategy seeking new and innovative ways to ensure Greene King has joint business plans with the accounts that deliver sustainable profit and volume growth.

This role will require extensive UK travel

Your role as National Account Manager - Off Trade
- Building a network of customer contacts at all levels and activating a contact strategy.
- Managing the execution of account / brand activities devised by GK sales & marketing teams.
- Development of existing customer base in specified segments and implementation of channel priorities.
- Create & keep live an annual account plan delivering corporate objectives.
- Agree and negotiate with the customer a joint business plan that delivers for both the internal and external business objectives.
- Identify and implement stretch targets
- Ensure accurate monthly sales forecasts and half year re-forecasts linking in with the team, supply chain, factory forecasting and finance.
- Lead and deliver innovative ways to seek out new consumer reach across the account base
What you’ll bring…
- Proven experience in a sales role capable of influencing internal and external senior stakeholders
- Trained in Influencing/Negotiating at a commercial level.
- Experience of Industry preferred
- Able to effectively communicate
- IT Literate
- A high level of numeracy
- Interpret category data to develop basic category insight
- Able to work and travel unsupervised
- Willing to travel
