In your role as Market Intelligence Lead you will:
- Lead Greene King’s market intelligence agenda, building a clear, strategic understanding of the pub, hospitality and adjacent markets, and translating external trends and foresight into business implications.
- Own competitor, market and performance‑vs‑market tracking, defining the right KPIs, setting targets and ensuring insight is embedded at group, brand and site level.
- Develop robust market, macro and foresight outlooks, partnering with Strategy, Finance and Insight to inform strategic planning, growth priorities and risk identification.
- Lead and develop a high‑performing market intelligence team, improving efficiency, automation, personal development of the team and creating great organisational value.
- Influence senior decision‑making, delivering clear, compelling insight and recommendations through regular reporting and presentations to senior stakeholders.

What you’ll bring…
- Strong analytical capability, able to turn complex data into clear, actionable insight.
- Strategic market expertise, with a deep understanding of the pub, hospitality and adjacent markets, and the ability to translate external trends into future opportunities and risks, as well as optimising our competitor tracking, KPI's and interpretation of performance vs market at group, brand and site level.
- Proven people leadership, with experience leading and developing specialist insight or analytics teams in fast‑paced environments.
- Outstanding communicator, able to communicate insight clearly, tell compelling stories and shape decisions at all leadership levels
- Authentically curious, innovative and forward‑thinking, with a strong customer focus and commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
