We are looking for an insight professional who has the magical combination of analytical ability with great communication skills to be able to translate insight to action – with both strategic and tactical stakeholders. 

The role will involve working closely with Consumer/Market Insights and Guest Experience teams to understand the landscape, then understanding the brand and innovation objectives to commission qualitative and quantitative research to help put the customer at the heart of business decision making and evaluations

Job Description

Your role as an Insight Manager

  • Owning and developing a full suite of insight tools - being the subject matter expert on the data, analysing for key themes and developing further to allow the business to plan
  • Understanding new sources of data both from agencies and also internally from digital sources to better enhance our decision making processes
  • Aligning with Brand and Innovation Teams to understand and influence their strategy around pubs from the atmosphere to the physical environment, service, food and drink elements
  • Putting customer first into the Brands and Marketing digital workstreams to ensure digital content is motivating to target consumers
  • Work closely with other areas of Insight, and other functions where relevant, to ensure a clear, rounded and holistic view is delivered to stakeholders.
  • Has capacity and experience to set up and facilitate research projects as required - including elements of self serve, so ability to run and analyse own surveys/data and share back effectively with stakeholders


What you’ll bring…  

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  •  Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills, with proven ability to influence at senior level
  • A self-starter with the ability to build strong working relationships, excellent team-working and interpersonal skills.
  •  A customer champion, passionate about understanding customers and innovating to meet their needs
  • Experience of insight, ideally in a client side multi-site retail environment. 
  • Strong mathematical and analytical problem solving background
  • Strong all-round knowledge of all external continuous panel data sources. 
  • In-depth experience of running ad hoc Qualitative/Quantatative insight projects
