Engineer

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will play a key role in ensuring the Packing Plant and wider site are supported by your skills. Whether you are completing planned maintenance or root cause analysis, you will be providing beneficial solutions to the operational teams.

Your role as an Electrical Engineer

• Provide multi skilled engineering support to the Packing Plant
• Fault find and quickly identify the failure reason and recovery plan
• Provide Engineering support to capital investment projects, packaging projects and improvement projects
• Implement controlled changes that improve line performance and overall plant efficiency
• Coach operatives to further develop the base knowledge of how the plant equipment works

What you’ll bring…

• Qualification/s and experience in electrical engineering, i.e. ONC, HNC or similar
• Experience with PLC controlled systems, inverters and industrial three phase equipment is essential
• Good knowledge of production line philosophy or liquid transfer
• Understanding of pneumatic systems and components
• Previous experience in FMCG is desirable
