We have seasonal Bar & Waiting and Kitchen roles available across our pubs, helping us deliver a great experience for our guests throughout the festive period. Whether you’re looking for a temporary role to earn some extra money over Christmas or simply want to be part of the celebrations, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved.
What qualifications or experience do I need?
No previous experience? No problem! While hospitality experience is always a bonus, we’ll give you all the training you need to get you ready for the festive season. All you need is a positive attitude, a friendly smile and a passion for spreading festive joy to our customers.
Can I apply to more than one pub?
Absolutely! Feel free to apply for more than one pub if you’re interested in different locations. With over 1,600 Greene King pubs across the UK, there are plenty of opportunities to find a role that works for you. Your local Greene King pub could be closer than you think, so why not explore your options and apply for any roles that catch your eye? Applying to more than one pub could give you even more chances to find the perfect festive role for you.
What is the recruitment process?
Once you have completed your application, if you are shortlisted you will be invited to attend an interview with a member of the pubs management team.
Will there be any permanent opportunities available at the end?
At this stage, we can’t confirm what our future requirements will look like, as this will vary from pub to pub and depend on our seasonal staffing needs. If you join us in a seasonal role, you can speak to your General Manager about any opportunities to stay with Greene King beyond the festive period. They’ll be able to talk you through what options may be available at your pub.
