Job description

This role plays a critical part in delivering Greene King’s ambitions through establishing, managing, and executing an effective Vendor Management Strategy to monitor and drive vendor performance initially with our Digital partners but longer term across IT.

This role is a manager (M2 career band).
In your role as Vendor Manager you will be responsible for...
- Creation and implementation of a Vendor Management Strategy to monitor, govern and drive vendor and partner performance
- Contractual management of third party suppliers
- Proactive management of contractual end dates and renegotiations
- Support of contract negotiations to deliver the best terms for Greene King
- Collate inputs on supplier performance from across the teams and work constructively with suppliers to improve performance and share best practice
What you'll bring....
- Experience of establishing and successfully implementing a vendor management strategy
- Experience in vendor management in a Product based IT environment
- Successful experience in IT and Technology commercial negotiations, demonstrating a range of techniques to ensure the appropriate terms are achieved
- Ability to effectively prioritise tasks in a high pressure environment.
- Takes ownership for area of responsibility and actively drives issues to conclusion.
