Job description
This isn’t just about execution — it’s about ownership. You’ll role model how to strategically plan content, assessing how content performs across platforms, using insight and creativity to plan with purpose, challenge briefs where needed, and guide others with confidence. You’ll be expected to spot opportunities, optimise output in real-time, and proactively influence stakeholders to champion social-first ideas.
With at least three years’ experience in social media, you’ll bring a strong creative instinct, an eye for performance, and the ability to connect marketing goals with audience needs. You’ll be fluent across key platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, and you’ll know how to collaborate and communicate to influence others, manage upward, and drive forward the role of social within the broader marketing mix.

Your role as a Senior Social Media Executive...
Define the social media plans to deliver against the marketing goals and objective, including content ideation and planning through to implementation.
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across Marketing, Brand, PR & Digital to ensue activities are aligned and integrated.
Display role model behaviours in driving performance from social media, developing robust social media plans that achieve objectives, and managing our partners to deliver results.
Support Social Media Manager in the management of our agency partners, defining and holding them accountable for delivering results aligned to agreed success metrics.
Proactively work with the social media manager and agency partners to develop social media campaigns that align to the marketing and comms plan.
Plan, develop and execute content plans aligned with their distinct voices, visual identity and target audiences.
Work with the marketing, creative teams and agency partners to produce social-first content suitable for a range of different platforms.
Develop social-first campaign ideas to accelerate social performance and broaden reach to new customers.
Craft compelling captions and social media copy that resonates with each brand's personality and audience.
Stay up-to-date on current social media trends and adapt content to leverage reactive opportunities to increase audience awareness and engagement.
Track & drive key performance indicators (KPIs) across each platform, including follower growth, engagement, engagement rate and reach
Create insightful reports to measure the success of social media campaigns and strategies in delivering against the brand goals and objectives.
Recommend data-driven adjustments to optimize content performance.

You'll be expected to play an active role in shaping brand social strategies alongside the Social Media Manager, taking ownership of content planning and execution to ensure every post delivers against clear objectives. Working closely with Divisional Marketing teams, you’ll bring campaign ideas to life through smart, insight-led content that sparks conversation, builds brand affinity, and drives measurable results.
