Job description
As a Senior People Experience Partner, you will play a key role in enabling a positive workplace culture by providing leaders with guidance and support on all areas of the employee lifecycle, including Performance, Disciplinary, Grievance, Absence, Wellbeing, and Engagement. By truly partnering with our leaders, this role will deliver and embed our One HR Plan by empowering our managers to do the best thing for their teams.
Role can be based in Burton or Bury St Edmunds

As Senior People Experience Partner, you will…
- Lead a team of People Experience Partners to support and build manager capability and confidence when dealing with significant employee issues.
- Partner with our business leaders to provide a balance of strong professional HR advice aligned to UK employment law and commerciality in line with the business needs and our One HR Plan.
- Support and own high-level, complex ER cases with the assistance of our Investigation team – such as TUPE, Tribunals, and high-risk cases.
- Utilise the insight gathered by the People Experience Partners to work with the Senior People Change Partners to develop strategies to address persistent or reoccurring themes in our ER cases or Line Management capability.
- Influence and partner at an Exec level to allow for the right outcome for employees, leaders, and Greene King in all elements of the employee lifecycle.
What you’ll bring…
- MHFA Trained / willingness to be trained
- Understanding of GDPR
- CIPD Level 5 equivalent or working towards
- High level of knowledge of employment law, policy & best practice
- Line management experience preferred
