We have an exciting opportunity to be part of the market leading Greene King team, working across a range of our pubs in the region completing repairs ranging from simple building maintenance to basic plumbing, decorating, carpentry and gardening.
You will report into the Maintenance Manager, and together be responsible for the upkeep of circa 75+ pubs / hotels. The role will be varied from day to day, working with our pub teams and pub managers to improve their site and keep our Greene King customers safe.
We will provide the relevant health and safety training as well as the tools to do the job. The team will have a shared van left at site to use in order to transport tools and materials from one job to the next; therefore, a driving license is required.
- Team Management
- Weekly data reporting to the SMART Administrator and National Maintenance Manager
- Develop a complete familiarity with the operation and recovery of all business-critical maintenance within the buildings
- Support the team with the allocation of reactive maintenance ensuring SLAs are met
- Maintain & Manage a Safe Systems of Work process
- Manage and conduct fault finding across all buildings
- Complete reactive repairs and undertake root cause investigations.
- Schedule and undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- To always represent the company in a professional manner and develop a good working relationship with all Greene King staff and contractors
- Attending local and national meetings, providing valuable input and feedback.
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience
- Highly skilled in plumbing, carpentry, decoration and basic drainage skills
- Ability to resolve problems and adhere to health and safety guidelines
- Good geographical skills to navigate across their areas
- Capable of working with machinery or lifting heavy equipment
- Computer Skills
- Excel
- IOSH Working Safely (ideally)
- Awareness of Health Safety regulations and guidance
