Job description

Ensuring the pubs within your region comply with relevant statutory obligations and are maintained in accordance with agreed Company and Divisional standards.

Field-Based – required to spend time in multiple offices and in the field/Pubs

Qualifications

Your role as Regional Surveyor 

  • To facilitate the effective delivery of a property surveying program, including minor and major projects within agreed company criteria
  • Ability to establish an effective course of action to meet deadlines and deliver agreed results 
  • Proactively manage the capital and reactive budgets
  • Effectiveness in identifying problems and possible causes of problems. 
  • Ability to evaluate data and reach logical decisions and take action 
  • Capacity to perceive the impact of functional decisions on other parts of the organisation. To provide appropriate challenge within the function. 
  • Awareness of other people, their environment and your own impact on them. 
  • Ability to create a good first impression and to maintain that impression. 
  • Ability to develop imaginative solutions; to innovate and identify radical alternatives. 
  • Fair open and honest when dealing with others inside or outside Greene King and takes responsibility for own actions.  
  • Awareness of changing economic, social and industry environment that is likely to impact the organisation 

What you’ll bring… 

 

  • Previous experience multi-site pub/leisure developments
  • Excellent planning and implementation skills
  •  
  • Ideally, hold a professional industry-recognised qualification: RICS, MBEng, CIOB or similar with 2 years + experience
  • Experience of maintaining the property's asset value to enhance, refine and improve its presentation and operating effectiveness.
  • Extensive property management experience, a proven executive team influence, and will demonstrate outstanding commitment and innovation in this role.
  • Persuasiveness – Ability to make a persuasive, clear presentation of ideas or facts.
  • Planning & organisation – Ability to establish an effective course of action to meet deadlines and deliver agreed results
  • Problem analysis – Effectiveness in identifying problems and possible causes of problems.
  • Decisiveness – Readiness to make decisions, render judgements and take action.
  • Environmental awareness – Awareness of changing economic, social and industry environment that is likely to impact the organisation.
