THIS IS A 12 MONTH FTC

An IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering IT projects within the agreed scope, budget, and timeline. They also coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and teams to ensure the successful completion of the project objectives and deliverables.

Job Description

 

As a Project Manager you will...

 

  • Define and document the project scope, objectives, and requirements
  • Create and maintain the project plan, schedule, and budget
  • Assign and manage the project tasks and resources
  • Monitor and control the project progress, quality, and risks
  • Report and escalate the project status, issues, and changes to the senior management and stakeholders
  • Facilitate and lead the project meetings and reviews
  • Manage the project closure and handover activities

The role is based in Bury St Edmunds, to allow for collaborative working with Retail Business Analysts.  The role reports into the Innovation & Payments Portfolio Manager. 

What you will bring...

  • Proven experience in IT project management
  • Proficient in project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
