Your role as Finance Manager -Property

The Property Finance team provides business partnering and analytical support for a variety of Property functions across Greene King, ranging from commercial due diligence on acquisitions, to repair budgets, to valuing the GK Property portfolio.  This is a hybrid working role which can be based from either our Bury St Edmunds site or our Burton offices

As Finance Manager your role will be varied in nature and flex with the changing priorities of the Property team through the year.  The successful candidate will business partner with the Asset Optimisation (AO), Acquisition and Estate Directors in investment decision making.  This will include strategic capex allocation, estate planning, single site acquisitions and inter-divisional transfers.  On occasion, we see the role providing support, as part of a project team, on larger company acquisition considerations. 

Alongside this, the successful candidate will gain exposure to commercial / strategically focused property projects and planning cycles; Forecast, Strategy Planning and Budgets.  Towards the end of the year the role will support the annual valuation of the GK Estate, ensuring accuracy and rigor is achieved in the process. 

This is an exciting and broad role, providing extensive learning opportunities across GK Managed and Pub Partners businesses.  The successful candidate will be required to build effective relationships at a senior level, influencing decision making with insightful analysis and commercial acumen.  This is an important role for Greene King, helping to shape investment in our pubs over the medium to long-term.

What you'll bring

• Qualified accountant with 3yrs PQE.
• Excel proficient.
• Previous Business Partner or investment appraisal experience in a large organisation.
