As an on trade customer marketing manager you will be part of fantastic team of marketeers.  Working closely with brand managers and our sales contacts as well as working with our category and insight functions to bring strategic thinking to our marketing execution plans.  You will be responsible for marketing some of the best selling beers and exciting innovation from one of the UKs top brewing and hospitality businesses.

This role is alligned to the brewery side of the business where we have over 300 years of brewing herritage across our two brewerys and in addition to great traditional brands such as Greene King IPA and Abbot Ale, we have an exciting range of seasonal ales and fantastic tasting modern craft beers which make up our inovating and evolving portfolio.

Job Description

Your role as Customer Marketing Manager 

  • Be the front-line marketing contact for key external customers.
  • Creation and delivery of the Annual marketing execution plan for external on-trade customers across all Greene King beer brands.
  • Delivery of key marketing execution materials for both in outlet activation and digital/social/on-line.
  • Working alongside category and insights functions to create impactful sell in stories and customer presentations to help drive Greene King products distribution and sales.
  • Work Closely with the brand team to help shape brand marketing plans into consumer and trade facing Customer marketing plans. Ensure the key brand messages operate through the line while being mindful of the core on trade objectives.
  • Manage the relationship with external agencies who provide creative design, print, point of sale and distribution.
  • Responsible for managing the customer marketing budget for your area. Ensuring accurate forecasting and ongoing review to ensure activities are driving a return on investment.

What you’ll bring… 

  • Effectively manage the on-trade customer marketing budget providing accurate forecasting and ensuring key activity delivers a return on investment. 
  • Experience in managing and forecasting budgets would be beneficial.
  • The role requires close working relationships with all members of the GK B&B  Team, the GK National Account Sales Team and leaders of the key internal support teams so ability to work across teams and lead cross functional project groups is crucial.
  • The Role will also have an active part in Customer Management for key accounts so the ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate customer first front line relationship skills.
