As a Customer Marketing Executive, On-Trade you will will be part of our Customer Marketing Team and will be fundamental in executing our on-trade marketing plans for our Greene King owned beer brands. The Customer Marketing Executive will be central to the execution of all our customer facing initiatives ensuring Greene King brands stand out from the crowd.

Job Description

Your role as Customer Marketing Executive, On-Trade

  • Take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of the external customer-facing aspects of key Customer Marketing projects such as Marketing POS (point of sale) glassware, barware, and sales tools
  • Ongoing stock management of our point of sale inventory – you will be the lead contact at Greene King Brewing & Brands for our procurement and fulfilment suppliers, maximising efficient POS deployment and cost savings.
  • Manage the relationship of external POS and logistics agency’s to ensure we are driving efficiency in process and service levels are maintained to deliver a great experience for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working with the Customer Marketing Managers, support the creation of the annual brand activation plan for the On-Trade and subsequent effective delivery of Customer Marketing activation
  • Act as an interface between the On Trade Sales teams and Brand Marketing team
  • Accountable for the effective deployment and control the Customer Marketing budget relating to your projects
  • Provide up to date data analysis that demonstrate the Annual Activation plan is delivering required return on investment
  • Manage the operational set-up of promotions in the free trade, liaising with Central Database, Customer Sales and Sales Operations.
  • In addition to the above you will become the brand champion of one of the brands within the Greene King portfolio.  Working alongside the brand team to translate the above the line plans into consumer and trade execution plans to activate within the on trade.

What you’ll bring… 

  • This is a great entry level role into an exciting area of marketing within an ever evolving and dynamic category.  While not essential, knowledge or experience in a marketing role and knowledge of the hospitality industry would be beneficial.
  • The role requires close working relationships with all members of the GK B&B Brands Team, the GK On Trade Sales Teams, operations teams and leaders of the key internal support teams e.g. Supply Chain and Customer Sales so the ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders in a broad range of functions is key.
  • Manging relationships and procurement with suppliers and agencies.
  • Great analytical skills and attention to detail are required to help manage POS inventory and ensure arcuate and up to date forecasting and reporting.
  • The Role will also support customer marketing managers through direct contact with key account stakeholders.
  • Part of the role will entail becoming the brand champion for one of our key brands so as well as a creative flair you will also benefit from the ability to work strategically and understand the category, customer and consumer needs and implement this knowledge to create winning marketing activation plans to delight out customers and consumers.
