As a Commercial Exec - Food you will be expected to support the end-to-end Food Development process ; developing and implementing customer propositions, optimising ranges from a commercial viewpoint, and maximising Supplier relationships and revenue opportunities

Your role as Commercial Exec - Food

•  Support the Commercial Manager ( Food ) in development and implementation of all food ranges changes, menu development projects and range trials
• Keep up to date with key food trends in the marketplace and competitive ranges
• Work with key departments to make sure menu development process and timelines are being followed – and assist in the preparation of documents for key meetings
• Work with Food and Drinks teams to secure and maximising supplier income opportunities for all menus
• Work with Integrated Marketing team and Marketing Managers to support on food campaigns and launches
• Support food benchmarking and auditing process and help develop process and training for improvement of delivery
• Support commercial analysis to provide key data for menu development – volumes, margin, spend, and support trials to test and learn
• Act as an ambassador for the Greene King pubs Commercial Team, understanding the Guest, their behaviour and key market trends is paramount, as is keeping this at the heart of food and drink development
• Be the key point of contact for all food-related queries and have a core understand of all format proposition s

What you’ll bring… 

• Ideally one year's experience in a retail/hospitality Marketing
• High level of passion for the Hospitality industry.
• Commercially aware and able to integrate company agenda into thinking
• Good communicator with ability to engage the business
• Forward thinking with strong planning & process skills
• Brand literate with a strong affinity for the Guest and their motivations
• Analytical ability to identify key issues and opportunities
• Team player - able to work well with internal (e.g. Marketing, Operations, Purchasing, finance etc.) and external (e.g. agencies, logistics) teams
