Commercial Exec - Drink

As a Commercial Exec - Drink you will be responsible for supporting the Commercial Manager ( Drink ) in delivering the Drinks Strategy for Greene King Pubs – specifically management of range, menu and promotional processes ; developing and implementing customer propositions, optimising ranges from a commercial viewpoint, and maximising Supplier relationships and revenue opportunities

Your role as Commercial Exec - Drink

• Development & execution of the annual Drinks Marketing plan in line with business, commercial & brand objectives
• Be a central point of communication and co-ordinate with the Drinks and Technical Services team, keeping stakeholders updated in a transparent and timely manner, and creating onward communication where necessary
• Responsible for ongoing collation and management of Drinks promotions, Drinks range roll out, and Supplier placement and promotions
• Responsible for delivering and communicating the Drink propositions for each Green King Pubs segment
• Co-ordinating drinks range changes, seasonal drinks ranges and menus, and ‘occasion’ drinks changes
• Working with the Drinks Team to improve audit and quality processes
• Responsible for delivery and evolution of Merchandising principles, securing supplier income and maintain records of pub and format level range
• Working with Food & Drink Ops Managers to deliver site support and training

What you’ll bring… 

• A minimum of 2 years in a marketing, sales, or pub ops role, preferably gained within Hospitality or FMCG.
• Ideally an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) with an emphasis on Marketing or Business Studies. We will consider other degree subjects, and non degree holders providing employment experience is relevant.
• Project Management Experience - Forward thinking with strong planning & process skills
• Experience in campaign management & developing marketing plans for short, medium and long term
• Experience and evidence of managing agencies and suppliers and know how to get the best from them.
• Demonstrable Analytical & commercial Skills and able to integrate company agenda into thinking & effectively manage budgets.
• Robust Stakeholder management Experience – ability to build effective relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
• Strong Communication & Influencing Skills
