Cloud Engineer

THIS ROLE CAN BE BASED AT OUR BURTON-ON-TRENT OFFICE OR OUR BURY ST EDMUNDS OFFICE BUT YOU MUST LIVE A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE FROM EITHER AS YOU WILL BE IN THE OFFICE TWICE A WEEK

As our Cloud Engineer, you will design, implement, maintain and provide support for our cloud-based systems and applications.  You'll be responsible for ensuring that our systems are designed for high availability and performance, and are able to scale to meet the demands of our growing business.  The role will require you to work part of a team in developing and maintaining our automated build and deployment processes.

In your role as Cloud engineer you will...

• Develop and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual networks, storage accounts, and virtual machines 
• Design and implement cloud-based solutions using Azure services such as App Services, Functions, and Logic Apps 
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based applications and services, automate cloud-based deployments using Azure DevOps
• Implement security best practices for cloud-based applications and services, design and implement cost-effective cloud-based solutions including designing and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions 
• Develop and maintain Azure automation scripts 
• Monitor and optimize cloud-based resources for performance and cost 
• Participate in the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions for customer
