As a business development manager, you will lead and grow your teams, helping them achieve their full potential. With the opportunity to oversee your own collection of pubs, you'll come up with innovative ideas, take calculated risks, and make the necessary adjustments to serve the needs of your customers.

Your role as Business Development Manager, you will… 

  • To help drive the voice of the Guest in MPCo by analysing and providing data to the wider MPCo team which can then be used to help deliver the MPCo brand strategy and proposition
  • Working with various internal and external stakeholders across both MPCo and GK to help understand and improve the Guest experience within MPCo’s pubs utilising guest data and insight.
  • Supporting the MPCo Operational Team with day-to-day tasks that support team effectiveness and efficiencies at all levels

 

What you’ll bring…  

  • Awareness of external hospitality market trends
  • Sound understanding of the Hospitality Industry preferred
  • Knowledge of different reporting tools and platforms such as Reputation, Clarabridge and IPSOS
  • Knowledge & experience of using BI reporting tools systems is desirable
  • Confident in data analysis and an understanding of how to present it in a simple yet actionable manner
  • Commercial and operational awareness – being able to link insight to financials
  • Ability to put the guest first, be it our guests in our pubs, or our internal stakeholders
  • Inquisitive and can investigate and interrogate data
  • A self-starter, someone who can work under their own steam and take initiative in a pro-active manner
  • Strong builder of relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external)
  • A good communicator and storyteller, with the ability to present and engage at all levels
  • Organised and efficient, a good planner that can work to timelines and deadlines
  • Able to collaborate with external experts and functions and teams in the wider GK business
