Business Analyst

As a technical Business Analyst, your role on a 12 month fixed term contract basis will be as a professional who bridges the gap between the business and technical teams of an organisation. They are responsible for eliciting, analysing, and communicating the business requirements, technical specifications, and solutions for various projects and initiatives. They also facilitate the collaboration and coordination between the stakeholders, developers, testers, and end-users throughout the project lifecycle.

In your role as Business Analyst (12 month FTC) you will...

• Gather and document the business needs and objectives of the clients and stakeholders
• Translate the business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications for the technical team
• Validate and verify the technical solutions against the business expectations and criteria
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, risk assessment, and impact analysis for the proposed solutions
• Create and maintain various artefacts such as business process models, use cases, user stories, wire-frames, data models, diagrams, and reports.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance of the technical deliverables
• Provide training, support, and documentation to the end-users and the technical team
• Manage and monitor the project scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
• Communicate and report the project status, issues, and risks to the management and the stakeholders
• Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the industry
• Document a start to end process for creation of a new brand including key deliverables and dependencies

What you’ll bring… 

• Prior document management experience and process mapping skills
• Proven experience as a technical Business Analyst or similar
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate with different stakeholders form operations teams to director level
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Certification in business analysis, project management, or a related field is a plus.
• A strong understanding of how IT can benefit the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of the business domain, processes, and systems.
• Proficient in various tools and techniques for business analysis, such as Excel, Visio, etc
