The Greene Man, is one of Greene King's flagship pubs, located on Euston Road, a short distance from Regents Park.  The pub has a friendly, local vibe and our guests include locals, overseas visitors as well as students and sports fans.  We operate on two floors with a basement bar that serves as extra seating area, or is used for functions.  We are looking for friendly and reliable people to join our team.

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Bar Staff to join our dynamic team in London, United Kingdom. As a key member of our bar team, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests while maintaining a high standard of service and professionalism.

• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere for all guests
• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area at all times
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service operations
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
• Assist in greeting customers and managing seating arrangements when necessary
• Offer knowledgeable recommendations on drink selections and food pairings
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
• Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge

• Proven experience in a bar or hospitality setting is preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and enthusiastic demeanor
• Strong attention to detail, especially in drink preparation and presentation
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
• Knowledge of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and expand skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize duties effectively
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol ({AGE}+ in the UK)
• Food safety or responsible alcohol service certifications are a plus
• Interest in mixology and current drink trends is advantageous
