Job description

Your role as Talent Scout ...

  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Management team, Recruitment Delivery Manager, Senior Talent Partners, and Recruiters.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to maximise and modernise our sourcing channels, gather talent intelligence, and drive recruitment effectiveness.
  • Proactively source, engage, and convert high-calibre passive candidates into engaged talent pipelines for key job groups across corporate functions and pub leadership roles.
  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies that leverage industry trends and adapt to market dynamics, particularly for high-volume hiring needs at new site openings
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of candidate interactions and progress within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and CRM, supporting data-driven recruitment strategies.
  • Generate regular reports on sourcing activities, results, and the effectiveness of sourcing strategies, providing insights for continuous improvement.

As a Talent Scout in our Talent Attraction team, you’ll be on the front line of proactive sourcing across our pub-managed divisions and corporate teams. You’ll hunt, engage, and build pipelines for roles that really matter, from new site openings to those famously hard-to-fill leadership and specialist positions.

Your mission is simple: reduce time to hire, raise the bar on quality, and make sure Greene King is never short of great talent, now or in the future.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring… 

  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining talent pools and pipelines for a variety of roles, focusing on both efficiency and quality of hire.
  • Confidence in building strong relationships quickly, both through warm connections and cold outreach.
  • The ability to engage passive talent from first message to meaningful conversation.
  • A natural, authentic approach to outreach that cuts through inbox noise and sparks interest.
  • Resilience and persistence, comfortable picking up the phone, sliding into LinkedIn messages, and following up properly.
