We are looking to recruit a Revenue Executive (6 month FTC/Secondment) to join our team supporting over 130 hotels based out of our Burton Upon Trent offices on a hybrid working/agile working basis.  As Revenues Executive an interest/understanding of Hotel Revenue Management coupled with strong Excel and IT skills is required coupled with great customer services skills/stakeholder engagement.

Job Description

Your role as a Revenue Executive...

  • Centrally support all aspects of pricing and availability for the hotels using our Revenue Management System (IDeaS), and Rezlynx.
  •  Managing the channel manager (Guestline/Room-Lynx) to ensure that all links are working efficiently between our reservations system and the third party booking sites.
  • Supporting the hotels which are not on Ideas revenue management system by checking daily analysis of prices, Competitors, and forecasts
  •  Tracking and sharing production from each booking channel on a daily, weekly and monthly basis for each brand.
  • Ensuring  all booking channels are active with correct content including images, rates and policies.
  • Regular daily proactive problem solving responding to email and telephone enquiries.
  • Liaising with Hotel Managers and Staff in regards to their booking systems, rates and availability.
  • Creating and maintaining rate plans in rezlynx for promotional campaigns and local activity.
  • Ownership of Reporting via our in-house systems (Cognos 10) 

 

What you'll bring...

  • Experience in revenue management or related role is preferred.
  • Strong Excel Skills.
  • Knowledge of booking agents such as Booking.com, Expedia and GDS channel
  •  Experience in Guestline products such as RezLynx & Room-Lynx preferred but not essential
  •  Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
  • Proven track with working with hotels.
  • Prioritize, organize and follow up.
  • Be a clear thinker, remaining calm in resolving problems using good judgment.
