Payroll Administrator

As a Payroll Administrator you will assist in payroll processing of over 39,000 employees across our four-weekly payrolls.     This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone that perhaps has payroll experience but would like to develop their skills and qualification as we are able to support and develop you further through a payroll qualification (CIPP) via our training provider.

Your role as Payroll Administrator 

• Data input of employee information into GKi

• Validating data entered onto GKi by employees and managers

• Processing payroll and checking calculations of statutory payments and deductions

• Processing of absence and calculation of sick/maternity/paternity/shared parental/adoption payments

• Assist with any ad hoc project work as required

What you’ll bring… 

• Good numeric and literacy skills, GCSE Maths and English (9-6 or A*-B) are essential, further education is desirable 

• Good level of IT literacy inclusive of Microsoft Excel

• 1-year high volume Payroll experience (desirable but not essential)

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Proven team player with high levels of integrity, confidentiality and discretion

• Organised, methodical, self-motivated, and committed to providing quality service

• Ability to react positively to sudden and unexpected changes in demand; a "can do" attitude

• Ability to prioritise work and work to deadlines

• Excellent communication skills

Qualifications:

• Completed or working towards CIPP Foundation Degree (desirable but not essential)
