Company Description

As a National Account Executive you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Grocery on a number of key grocery accounts for Greene King Off Trade as well as having direct responsibility for other grocery accounts. Your role will include creating effective and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders whilst delivering growth through robust joint business planning, sharing of category insight relevant to the key account and excellent levels of service.

This is a field based role with regular (3 to 4 times PM) travel to our offices in Bury St Edmunds.

Job Description

Your role as National Account Executive Grocery 

  • Support the Head of Grocery & wider team to drive forward key grocery joint business plans
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts to operations & supply chain
  • Day to day administration tasks associated with key grocery accounts
  • Develop and maintain engagement with internal and external stakeholders to ensure long term success
  • Identify category opportunities using insight and data
  • Engage key internal and external stakeholders with current and future brand plans

What you’ll bring… 

  • A strong desire to learn
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills
  • Intermediate Excel and Power Point capability
  • Grocery channel knowledge and category experience (advantageous)
  • Joint business planning retailer experience (desirable)
