Job description
As a Management Accountant, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and insights that support strategic decisions. Based at our Bury St Edmunds office on an agile working basis (50%), you’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure robust financial processes and controls.

As Management Accountant, you will…
- Perform month-end accounting processes to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Deliver high-quality reports and commentary to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP principles and maintain a strong controls environment.
- Support internal and external audits and assist with ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
What you’ll bring…
- A professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or QBE experience.
- Strong knowledge of finance systems, ERP software, and reporting tools such as Excel and PowerPoint (Power BI an advantage).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Experience in a large company environment; retail or hospitality knowledge is a plus.
