Job description

As a Finance Assistant, you will support the Pub Partners Rent & Recharges team by keeping our invoicing, recharges and data processes running smoothly and working closely with operations and finance teams to ensure accurate weekly and period-end outputs.

Qualifications

As Finance Assistant, you will…

  • Manage weekly self-billing processes by checking data accuracy, raising purchase orders and ensuring invoices and payments are completed correctly
  • Support turnover rent billing by maintaining the turnover tracker and chasing any missing information to keep invoicing on track
  • Set up new sites and suppliers for weekly billing, handling ingoing fees and monitoring outstanding payments
  • Support period-end processes by journalling recharges accurately and providing financial information for accruals
  • Help track capital investment spend and support operations with required templates

What you’ll bring…

  • A naturally enquiring mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to present financial information simply
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines while managing varied and competing priorities
  • Strong Excel skills, with experience in Cognos or Mail Merge being an advantage
  • An interest in finance or accountancy, ideally suited to someone beginning an accountancy apprenticeship
