As a Maintenance Engineer you will play a key role in ensuring the Packing Plant and wider site are supported by your skills. Whether you are completing planned maintenance or root cause analysis, you will be providing beneficial solutions to the operational teams.

Job Description

Your role as an Maintenance Engineer

  • Provide multi skilled engineering support with a mechanical bias to the Packing Plant
  • Fault find and quickly identify the failure reason and recovery plan
  • Provide Engineering support to capital investment projects, packaging projects and improvement projects
  • Implement controlled changes that improve line performance and overall plant efficiency
  • Coach operatives to further develop the base knowledge of how the plant equipment works

What you’ll bring…

  • Completion of an indentured apprenticeship
  • Relevant Multiskilled, Electrical/Mechanical Mechatronics qualification i.e., BTEC, ONC, HNC or similar
  • At least previous FMGC experience
  • Solid understanding of Production line philosophy or Liquid transfer
  • Able to fault find in a controlled methodical manner
  • Understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, steam and electrical systems
  • Bench fitting skills to facilitate machinery repair
  • Hygienic welding (TIG)
