Load Planner

As a Load Planner you will play a key role in ensuring vehicle routes are planned to allow for on time deliveries. Whether you’re debriefing drivers or managing emergency orders you’ll be a significant strength to Greene King. This is a full time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00.

Your role as a Load Planner

• Planning vehicle routes using DiPS software
• Monitor and manage information from the vehicle telematics system
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports to the Transport Manager and Depot Manager
• Monitor staff absence including sickness and holidays
• Respond promptly to route feedback and ensure improvement opportunities are acted upon

What you’ll bring…

• Experience in working within a transport planning department is essential
• Knowledge of DiPS Transport Planning Software is desirable, however training will be provided
• Excellent communication skills
• Good organisation skills with the proven ability to prioritise workload methodically
• Understanding of Microsoft Office packages
