Job description
Fixed Term Contract - 18 months
As a Learning & Development Partner - Franchise coverage on a national field basis, you will be part of the Franchise L&D team in researching, designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating engaging impactful learning & development interventions.
You will need to hit the ground running and quickly build strong relationships, work closely with the wider L&D team, Franchise Operations & Marketing teams to identify, and ensure key learning objectives and outcomes are delivered against our strategic plan supporting the growth of Franchise pubs.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring our Franchisees and their teams are able to deliver a fantastic customer experience from day one of opening.
As a Learning Delivery Partner- Franchise you will need to..
- Liaise with key stakeholders to proactively identify our partner learning needs, develop, and deliver fit for purpose interventions against clear objectives and outcomes.
- Be multi-skilled in content delivery from delivering welcome induction sessions to in pub bespoke training & online digital solutions.
- Support the successful launch of our Nest and Hive Franchise pubs by providing engaging on-site pub team training resulting in successful launch and return on investment targets.
- Working with the wider L&D team for consistency of approach, to meet personal team goals and objectives, working alongside the Franchise regional team to support specific area needs.
Other Key Responsibilities
- Effectively and efficiently support our onboarding process and Franchisees in their first 100 days.
- Agile in role with ability to travel nationwide to support new investment launches.
- Support menu scoping, development & delivery of training solutions.
- Support the delivery of our Franchise Induction Programme.
- Support and deliver systems training on site and during induction for new Franchisees and their teams.
- Support our property & design teams during onsite briefings ensuring future investments are set up for operational success.

What you’ll bring…
Ideally you will have a background as a General Manager, Senior PLT or Field based pub support role with experience training Pub Management Systems, Front of House & Back of House practical skills and we will be looking for you to apply your experience to create high impactful learning and development interventions that make a difference based on a blended learning style.
- Confident in delivering training to groups in a pub environment
- You will be comfortable in a varied role, with a customer first, problem solving, and a can do attitude
- Work collaboratively with the wider L&D team / OD, OMs, BDMs and PP support teams
- An interest & passion in developing training in a digital world
- Creative, well organised, with strong attention to detail
- Responsible for data collection and accurate reporting
- A clear communicator, both written and in person and able to engage with Franchisees and their teams
- Have a passion for helping and motivating people to develop
- Consistently deliver on commitments, despite challenging timescales and competing priorities.
- Knowledge of Pub Management Systems, Including till management.
- Comfortable training BOH & FOH practical skills
- Experience developing teams and mentoring individuals.
- The role includes travel and working away from home. Due to the frequent and wide-ranging national travel, a full UK driving license is required
- Training for the role will be provided
