As a Laboratory Technician you will ensure quality control at all stages of beer production. Whether you’re conducting quality surveys or carrying out calibration checks on laboratory instruments, you will play a key role supporting Greene King uphold their values.

Job Description

Your role as a Laboratory Technician

  • Actively promote a high level of adherence to quality specifications
  • Ensure all instruments used are calibrated and fit for purpose
  • Sample and analyse for physical and chemical and for microbiological parameters in line with agreed schedules
  • Ensure efficient qc cover by adherence to shift, weekend and bank holiday rotas and complying with department and company rules for annual holiday
  • Prepare, set up and assist with tasting sessions and sensory training
