We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our bustling kitchen team in London, United Kingdom. As a vital member of our culinary operation, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.

• Ensure the kitchen runs smoothly by keeping it well-stocked and impeccably clean
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and adhere to safety regulations to guarantee the wellbeing of the entire team and our guests
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure they have all necessary equipment and utensils
• Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment both manually and using industrial dishwashers
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen team
• Keep storage areas tidy and organised, rotating stock as needed
• Support the chef team by cleaning work stations, floors, and other kitchen areas throughout the shift
• Dispose of waste properly and maintain a sanitary waste management area
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper handling and storage of ingredients

• Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to support the team
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when required
• Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Strong attention to detail in cleaning and organising tasks
• Resilience and ability to work under pressure
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with kitchen staff
• Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential
