Kitchen Assistant

We are looking to recruit a motivated and hardworking Kitchen Assistant (Pot Wash) to join our kitchen team, on a part time basis.

As part of our warm kitchen team, duties will include washing and replacing crockery and cutlery with responsibility for the cleaning and tidying of the pot wash areas.

As a Pot Wash, you will…

• Ensure all plates, crockery and cooking equipment is cleaned: Your role will be to overseeing the pot wash area of the kitchen and ensure that all crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment is cleaned efficiently and correctly
• Ensure your section is prepared and cleaned down: You will ensure that your station is clean and tidy throughout your shift and at the end of your shift ready for handover
• Making sure your work area is safe and any chemicals used are used correctly: You will be responsible for ensuring your work area remains a safe environment through cleaning spillages, and the correct safety procedures are followed particularly when it comes to use of chemicals.
