As Head of People Shared Services you will be responsible for delivering a first-class people service for our 39,000 team members through the leadership of the People Shared Services team and management of external suppliers. Joining us at an exciting time of transition as we embark on a Workday implementation, this role will provide an opportunity for career growth as our People Shared Services transforms.
As the Head of People Shared Services you will work closely with the Reward & Policy team, Payroll team, IT and Operational Excellence team in planning, coordinating and implementing initiatives to create a centre of excellence that delivers accurate and efficient people processes.

Your role as Head of People Shared Services
- Lead the day-to-day People Shared Service operation ensuring the People Shared Services team maintain high levels of internal customer service; keeping our team members at the centre of the delivery
- Leadership of the People Shared Services team ensuring they are fully trained to use the tools available, can deliver the services to the expected standards and are supported with their personal and professional development goals
- Ensure all services are delivered in line with agreed policies, procedures and within our internal service level agreements and this is acknowledged in both internal and external audits
- Provision of the People Services Reports including a monthly pack together with an executive summary which shows performance against key performance and agreed service level
- Coordinate the administration behind key processes including TAP, contracts, training bookings, benefits, company fleet, right to work in line with policy and legislation
- Responsibility for supplier management of third-party providers focusing on service delivery to support the day to day operation and change

What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in delivering a large scale, high volume shared service function with a focus on service delivery and will be able to demonstrate experience in delivering process improvements. Experience in shared services across the employee lifecycle, together with experience in HCM platforms (Oracle PeopleSoft or Workday ideally) would be hugely advantageous, though we are open to individuals with similar experience. As important as your experience, you will demonstrate the following skills:
- Excellent planning, organisation and project management skills
- Strong change management skills with the ability to successfully embed change
- Relationship building skills with the ability to build strong connections outside the immediate team, internally, at different levels of the organisation, and externally
