Finance Analyst

As Finance Analyst for our Destinations Brands Division this really is a fantastic opportunity for a part qualified Finance professional.  This role can be based from either of our Burton or Bury St Edmund offices, with hybrid working so 50% of your week will be based remotely from home and the other 50% of your week can be from our offices or visiting one of the Greene King pubs.

As Finance Analyst  you will be working closely alongside our Finance Business Partners within a fast moving role which will be a great mix between reporting and analysis as well as face to face business partnering as you get an opportunity to get out and visit our various sites.

Principal responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Destination Brands Business Partner team to deliver business targets, budgets and forecasts.
• Provide business performance analysis, propose business solutions and drive great conversations with our pub teams.
• Understand sales and cost control, with the aim of helping to deliver the BU P&L targets.
• Direct & Influence Operational Team in identifying opportunities and driving results.
• Reviewing and interrogating Project justifications during the Capex Investment appraisal process, with recommendations for improvements as well as opportunities/threats highlighted. Ability to present the data.
• Timely and insightful analysis with recommendations to key customers, ensuring informed business decisions are made.
• Review period accounts and take ownership of BU P&L.
• Creation of P&L budgets / forecasts as required.

Qualifications:

• Working towards or part qualified Finance professional.
