Job description
As a Dray Night Loader you will pre-load secondary transport vehicles throughout the night, for onward delivery the following day by various dray crews to various customers. To load the vehicles in an efficient and safe way, in line with the delivery requirements of the customer, so they can arrive in full and safe to off-load. The working hours for this role are 18:00-02:00 & 20:00-04:00.

Your role as a Dray Night Loader
- Safe and efficient loading of secondary transport vehicles
- Accurate checking of goods on to the load, against loading and delivery notes
- Adherence to safe manual handling techniques always.
- Drive Health & Safety within the Distribution Centre, working with others to build a safety culture in all areas of the St Edmunds Distribution Centre, ensuring full Company and Statutory compliance
- Prepare loaded vehicles in readiness for the delivering crews coming in.
