As a Primary Distribution Driver, you play a vital role in our logistics team, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of products to various destinations. Your reliability and professionalism are evident from the moment you embark on your journey, guaranteeing a timely and flawless delivery of beer, wines, and spirits to Greene King Depots, Distribution Centres and other outlets. The working hours are an average of 48 hours per week between Monday and Friday with paid breaks. As a night driver, you will work from a flexible start time of between 5pm-7pm from our Bury St Edmunds distribution centre, travelling to a range of Greene King, customer and 3PL locations including London, Reading, Goole, Lichfield and Welwyn.

Your role as a Primary Distribution Driver (nights)
Conduct daily vehicle and trailer checks to ensure safe and legal operational condition
Maintain vehicles, trailers, and associated equipment at a compliant safety level
Transport various loads across the UK while adhering to driver-hours regulations
Prioritise health and safety guidelines, ensuring excellent customer service throughout operations
What you’ll bring...
Thorough knowledge of drivers' hours, rules, and regulations to ensure compliance and safe driving practices
Demonstrated reliability in fulfilling responsibilities consistently and meeting deadlines
Methodical approaches to tasks, displaying careful planning, attention to detail, and organised work habits
Resilient attitude, capable of handling challenges and adapting to changing situations effectively
Hold a Class 1 (C+E) driving licence & Full Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
