We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Bar Staff to join our team in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. As a member of our bar team, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and providing exceptional service to our patrons.

• Greet customers warmly and take drink orders promptly
• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to specification
• Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately
• Offer knowledgeable recommendations on drinks and menu items
• Assist in stock management and inventory control
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service of food items
• Monitor customers' consumption and practise responsible serving of alcohol
• Resolve customer queries and concerns in a professional and friendly manner
• Contribute to creating a positive and enjoyable atmosphere for all patrons

• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
• Basic knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring each drink is prepared to perfection
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
• Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions
• Positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn and expand skills
• Team player mentality with the ability to work collaboratively
• Previous bar or hospitality experience is advantageous but not essential
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a bar setting is beneficial
