A great opportunity to join our Finance Shared Services team as an Administrator (purchase ledger).  Your role will be to process supplier invoices and credits in line with our company processes and legal compliance. Prioritising workload to ensure team performance metrics are met. Driving a strong compliance culture and excellent relationships with internal and external customers.  This is a hybrid working opportunity which means that 50% of your week will be in the office and 50% working from home however full on site training will be required for the first month to enable you to feel fully supported within this role.  This role has future scope to join one of our fantastic apprenticeships too within Finance if this is your desired path.

Job Description

Your role as Administrator 

  • Processing of invoices, both PO and Non-PO, in line with company and legal requirements.
  • Dealing with any queries quickly and efficiently – escalating where appropriate.
  • Engage and collaborate with the business to increase the levels of process compliance
  • Prioritise and manage workload to achieve team performance metrics.

What you’ll bring… 

  • Thoroughness and attention to detail
  • Taking ownership of problems through to resolution
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Understanding of accounts payable processes
  • A strong customer service ethos with the ability to drive this culture into the team  
  • Preferably Purchase Ledger experience (however this is not essential)
