Job description
Your role as a Transport Team Leader
- Planning vehicle routes using a transport planning software
- Monitor and manage information from the vehicle telematics system
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports to the Transport Manager and Depot Manager
- Monitor staff absence including sickness and holidays
- Respond promptly to route feedback and ensure improvement opportunities are acted upon
- People Management
What you’ll bring…
- Experience in working within a transport planning department is essential
- Knowledge of a Transport Planning Software is desirable, however training will be provided
- Excellent communication skills
- Good organisation skills with the proven ability to prioritise workload methodically
- Understanding of Microsoft Office packages
As a Transport Team Leader you will play a key role in ensuring vehicle routes are planned to allow for on time deliveries. Whether you’re debriefing drivers or managing emergency orders you’ll be a significant strength to Greene King. This is a full time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday, flexible day time hours.
