Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Team Leader to join our organisation in Lancaster, United Kingdom. As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in managing, motivating, and developing a high-performing team while ensuring the achievement of organisational goals.
- Lead and inspire a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
- Set clear objectives and performance expectations for team members, conducting regular appraisals and providing constructive feedback
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team productivity and efficiency
- Monitor and analyse team performance, creating and presenting reports to senior management
- Identify and address any challenges or conflicts within the team, promoting a positive work culture
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and project delivery
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the team, delegating tasks and managing workloads effectively
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure high standards of work
- Provide mentoring and coaching to team members, supporting their professional development
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, implementing innovative solutions when appropriate
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a team leadership role, with a track record of successfully managing and developing teams
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in performance management and conducting appraisals
- Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong customer service ethos and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Technical ability to evaluate and implement changes in relevant platforms and systems
- Excellent report creation and analysis skills
- Adaptability and resilience, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
- A collaborative approach, with experience in cross-functional team environments
- Relevant industry experience (preferred)
