Job description
As a Surveyor you will be responsible for ensuring the pubs within their region comply with relevant statutory obligations and are maintained in accordance with agreed Company and Divisional standards. They will also be responsible for the management of the repairs & maintenance budget and agreed investment capital within their region. This roles is within the leased and tenanted side of the business, Pub Partners.

This role is a Manager (M2) Grade
Your role as Surveyor...
- Carrying out all surveying duties within a defined geography on a diverse range of leased and tenanted pubs.
- To facilitate the effective delivery of a property surveying programme, including capital development projects within agreed company criteria.
- To liaise with the operations teams, and tenants to provide technical advice and expertise.
- To proactively manage the capital and revenue budgets and deliver best value
- To participate in industry bodies and maintain awareness of trends, opportunities and changes to property surveying best practice.
- To create proactive maintenance solutions to improve service and reduce cost.
- To communicate with the operational teams and provide appropriate information on maintenance spend and understand their priorities.
- To lead & direct a team of outsourced support service providers.
What you’ll bring…
- Ideally hold a professionally industry recognised qualification: RICS, M B Eng, CIOB or similar.
- Have a minimum of five years’ experience of the retail and leisure businesses.
- Experience of maintaining the asset value of the property to enhance, refine and improve its presentation and operating effectiveness.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive property management experience, a proven executive team influence, and will demonstrate outstanding commitment and innovation in this role.
