Company Description

As a Retail Audit Manager you will You will be responsible for undertaking Audits in Greene King’s leased and tenanted estate.  You will conduct both announced and unannounced investigations with a view to maximising profitability through ensuring our partners abide by their purchasing obligations and improving beer quality, while all the time supporting our partners on yield and overall retail standards. Day to day you will balance touring our estate and interacting with our partners with admin and reporting duties alongside engaging and collaboration with our operations teams to support the performance of our pubs. The retail audit role contributes to the wider mission of the commercial team in protecting volume and supporting value growth in the drinks categories we distribute through our estate.

Job Description

Your role as Retail Audit Manager

  • Complete unannounced and announced operational audits and report findings through the CRM system.
  • Actively drive down levels of lost volume in line with company targets
  • Proactively promote high levels of retail standards throughout the estate
  • Provide support to our partners on ways to improve beer quality, yields, food hygiene etc.
  • Provide ongoing support to BDMs on flow monitoring reports and platform navigation
  • Regular attendance and presentation of results at regional meetings

     

What you’ll bring… 

  • A comfortable communicator who can readily adapt to different sets of circumstances and personalities, representing Greene King to the highest standard.
  • The ability to build relationships amongst our partners and with our operations teams to support the delivery of improving outcomes over time.  
  • A keen eye for detail, with the capability to assess and respond to a wide range of data sources in a variety of formats
  • Excellent planning skills to enable you to maximise the value of your time on the road and balance your wider commitments.
  • A good standard of computer literacy, able to comfortably manage basic spreadsheets and produce PowerPoint and Word documents to a good standard.
