Company Description

The Procurement Manager will provide support to the Senior Purchasing Manager to ensure contractual compliance and cost management, developing and maintaining category strategies with key stakeholders across the Property Services and Building Maintenance categories.

 

Please note, this is a field based role.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities will include:

  • Support the development of procurement strategies that are inventive and cost effective.
  • Deliver category strategies in the areas of Property Services and Fixtures and Fittings.
  • Reviewing and negotiating existing schedules of rates with suppliers to ensure on-going feasibility and cost control
  • Identify procurement opportunities across the category • Risk assessment of existing and potential suppliers and agreements

 

About you

  • Relevant procurement experience in building services, F&F and maintenance sectors
  • Experience of category management strategies and development of category plans
  • MCIPS or degree level equivalent and minimum five years post-qualification experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to make a persuasive and clear presentation of ideas or facts
  • Ability to establish an effective course of action to meet deadlines and deliver agreed results
  • Ability to evaluate data and reach logical decisions and recommend action
